Materials Needed:

• Wax Crayons
• White and coloured paper
• Botanical material e.g. leaves, loose bark

* wax rubbings can also be made on tree trunks, so why not get out in the garden or take some craft supplies with you next time you are on a walk.

Instructions:

1. Place your botanical material on a flat surface and put the paper on top. Holding it in place with your hand.
2. Using a wax crayon, begin to make big strokes across the paper. Pressing firmly will create darker lines, press more lightly to get a softer imprint.
3. Try using multiple colours to create a vibrant look.
